Pictures From The Construction

We had to move our books out of our hallway

A Year Past

This year has past like the wind, learning, growing, loving and lots of others. I just feel like I have not told you enough about the year that just past: The first day of school was in a new building, And of course I was a little scared but that was OK. I met 6 new girls in the classroom: Avigail, Devora, Eli-sheva, Shachar, Avivit and Ashira, my best friend that moved to America for 3 years and she came back! After 5 minutes by meeting those new girls the bell rang. And the teacher came in, that was a teacher that I always thought that she was a good teacher and I was right!

Now I want to jump to around Chanuka time: The hole class was practicing dances for the chanuka party except for me, of course I was going to be in America for the party but what I did was the teacher's "Helper". Like I was turning on and off the music and I would help the girls do it right. Before then I did not know that I was going to America before the party and I was supposed to do a very big solo... But that was OK, it was still fun helping!

Here we are up till the first report card: I had 6 A+'s and 6 A's and my teacher wrote me: "Your behavior and your personality is one of the best. Everyone smiles when you pass them, and also you are a true friend to everyone. Your ability in school is great, I love being your teacher!!" Isn't that nice???

And then Purim comes... There are 2 things that happen in that time lets start with one! A day before Purim you are suppose to get dressed up and bring treats and guess what?!?!?! Everybody said I was very cute and very beautiful being a Chinese kid!
And also we made a report about the Torah in Sefer Shemot in Parashat Shemot. And mine was one of the best!

On Pesach we went up north and I had a great time and I saw a flower that only grows in Israel in up north!!! We went hiking allot and also of course A great time!!! I was the only kid that was up for all of the "lile haseder"! But I did not find the "afikoman"...

Up till to "lag ba'mer" I was invited to my first bonfire in my life!!! It was great!!!! I staid up till 11:15 at night and then Abba called to say that I can't stay there anymore because it is too late!

And then the end of the school year comes... I get a report card!!! You already know my grades, now you are about to read what my teacher wrote: "From the past year you learned allot! You are great you are one of my best student!! you have a great and wide heart open to learn new things and to help hew ever needs help and does not brag at all. Continue to learn more and teach more with all your help!!!! I loved being you teacher! Good luck!" isn't that great??

I thank hashem with all my heart for already a long life.
Love,
Adina

Stellar report cards

I am elated to share with you the results for the older kids' report cards. Yosef doesn't get grades yet, but he got comments like, "Very good, reviews with enthusiasm, and participates well in class," and "Good, learns well and happy in his studies." Adina got 7 A+'s, 5 A's, and one B. Her comments included, "Excellent student! Masters the material," and "Mistress of mathematical understanding, works with energy." I am grateful to H', all of their teachers, and to the kids for a successful school year.

Atara Tiferet didn't get a report card, so I've written one, inspired by the Israeli comic strip Dvir:
