Adina's Miracle

Hi everyone. I want to share with our friends and family something that happened yesterday that we're all still reeling from - Adina was sitting at my computer doing her homework, when the shelves above my desk came crashing down on her. Those who've seen them know that they're packed with books, a printer, office supplies (including sharp things), a small wood cupboard, and all kinds of junk. The shelves fell as a unit literally around her head - if she'd been a different height, or been sitting a different way, the shelves themselves would have hit her right in the head. Yehoshua and I got her out of there, and to our total relief and amazement she had a few drops of blood on her gums, and a scratch on her nose. Being the traditional Jewish type, we all see this as Divine Protection and are all feeling (besides somewhat traumatized) hugely grateful to God for protecting our little girl.

Yehoshua went on his vacation this morning to the Galil, and we haven't decided yet what we want our spiritual response to be to this miracle. If you have any thoughts we are open to suggestions.

Love,
Rachel
